Storm Faithfulness Betrayal Regret Victim

Marriage takes work, loyalty, sacrifice, and faithfulness. When loalty is betrayed you get victims, and regret. storms generally mean lonelyness.

I think the story will be about a door in need of painting.

I suppose the painted door could mean a metaphorical door hiding something aweful and being painted makes it cheerful.

The land can define people by what peice the have. like having a really expensive peice makes you well to do.

It might have something to do with farming.

Bullies

A bully is an insecure person who most likely was bullied at one point and now takes out their pain on others. this could be in physical, emotional, verbal, or psychological bullying. I have the tendency to do what they say not to with bullies and face them head on and beating them at their own game. I hate bullying and I think that bullies should be social outcasts.

I think that what is said in this video is eerily true. I also wish that such things would be considered so horrific that they would never happen.

Children shouldn’t be exposed to abuse at all and if your children would be doing horrible things like that i would consider leaving the household. For some reason children seem to be the ones to open our eyes to things they never should have seen.

Being Canadian

Canada does seem to be stereotyped a lot and it isn’t accurate or fair to the people who don’t fit the mode of what the world thinks is a Canadian. most of the commercials or videos that have Canadians being stereotyped have americans doing the stereotyping. i would think they would be nicer to their neighbours and maybe actually learn a little bit about Canada. It’s just stupid that Rick mercer can even find americans who know very little for his Talking To Americans segments. Gullible people are the most stereotypical americans and Canadians around.

To find the theme in a short story:

Look for the character who changes.

Look for the moral element in the story.

The theme isn’t always based on what happens.

The exposition is the time and place. The time is late 1800′s to middle 1900′s. The place is Georgia, USA.

The complication is the devil approaching Johnny and asking his to have a fiddle contest. Johnny said he would.

The rising action is the Devil’s part of the fiddle contest.

The climax is Johnny’s part of the fiddle contest.

The resolution is the Devil paying Johnny the gold fiddle and Johnny challenging the Devil to just come back and try again.

Read a good book about writing short stories.

Take a person who has a problem and who doesn’t necessarily solve the problem.

The ending doesn’t have to satisfy the protagonist. It only has to satisfy the reader.

Read lots of short stories so you can learn from them.

If you read enough shorts stories you will be a better writer.

Don’t put in background. Let it come out in the confilcts if it is needed.

You don’t have to know how the story will end when it starts.

Make it short. 200-10000 words. Make each word count.

justice

justice is in short supply. most people don’t care what happens to other people. they only care if it affects them. even in the judicial system there doesn’t seem to be a never-ending supply of justice there should be. justice is more a virtue we strive to achieve but never actually reach.
